Nelson Mandela
The project started in a Yorkshire school, in 2005. As the pupils explored other cultures, beliefs and environments, so they became more aware of differences; of poverty; of struggles and of children with no hope.
The wish was to help children in Africa and so, with some 9 year old British school children raising the first £450, the ‘School for Africa’ Fund was born.
